Infrastructure & Construction Industry Recognition 5th EPC World Awards-2014 program is being organized on Thursday, 18th Dec 2014 at Hotel Ashok, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. Ernst & Young are the knowledge Partners for the Awards. Zee Business is supporting the program along with Builders Association of India, INSDAG & NHBF.

The inaugural Session at 10.00 AM shall be addressed by Tejasvi Sharma, Editor –in-Chief EPC World and Mr. V. Sushi Shyamal Partner Ernst & Young LLP. The closing session at 7.00 PM shall be addressed by Shri. Vishnu Deo Sai, Hon’ble Minister of State, Steel & Mines, Govt. of India.

"Act East " Policy of MODI Govt. Hailed
At "India-ASEAN " ASSOCHAM Program

New Delhi,11th Dec 2014 : Shri Vijay Jolly ,Senior BJP Leader & Advisor Global Political Affairs, GOPIO Intn'l today hailed the "Act East Policy " of Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on ASEAN, while delivering the Keynote address at the 3rd India-ASEAN Dialogue Roundtable on Trade & Economic Cooperation at New Delhi.

The "Look East Policy " of India during the past 20 years with its slow pace has enabled China to make deep inroads in the ASEAN region stated BJP leader Mr. Jolly.

The economic Indian agenda of development for closer business ties with ASEAN majors namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, Brunei, Singapore, Cambodia, Laos, Philippines & Vietnam was stressed by Mr. Jolly in his keynote address.

Development of 7 Sister North Eastern Indian States, rail network, road network, power infrastructure, apparel manufacturing centres, creating natural economic zones and scholarship schemes shall connected Indian North Eastern states with "Act East Asean" policy of India stated Mr. Jolly.

The trilateral 3200 km long highway linking India, Myanmar & Thailand and its completion by 2018 was also highlighted. Shipping Corporation of India direct shipping service from India to Myanmar, Jet Airways commencing direct flight from New Delhi via Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam along with two additional flights to Thai Capital this winter were the direct results of Modi's "Act East Asean Policy" claimed BJP leader Vijay Jolly in his address.

The day long ASSOCHAM program was also addressed by Ambassador of Indonesia H.E. Mr. Rizali W. Indra Kesuma, Brunei Darussalam High Commissioner H.E. Dato Paduka Sidek Bin Ali & Mr. D.S. Rawat Sec. General ASSOCHAM and diplomats along with research scholars. The program was chaired and conducted by Mr. Shantanu Srivastava Chairman India-Asean Business Promotion Council. Business leaders of BHEL, TATA Consultancy Services, Yes Bank, Reliance Industries etc. attended the event at Sardar Patel Corporate office of ASSOCHAM in New Delhi.

BJP Leader Vijay Jolly appointed Advisor Global Political Affairs, GOPIO Int’l

New Delhi, 9th Dec 2014 : Global Organization of People of Indian Origin, International has appointed Senior BJP Leader of India Vijay Jolly as Advisor Global Political Affairs, GOPIO Int’l.

Guyana born Mr. Ashook Ramsaran, President GOPIO Int’l with headquarters in New York, USA wrote a letter to Mr. Jolly and confirmed his new appointment. GOPIO formed in 1989 represents the interests of Overseas Indian Community exceeding 28 million Non Resident Indians (NRI’s) and People of Indian Origin (PIOs) in more than 25 nations across the globe.

The letter from GOPIO President states that Mr. Jolly with his vast experience and interest in the betterment of the society thru democratic political means shall further expand the outreach of GOPIO among the global Indian diaspora and countries of domicile.

Mr. Jolly is Former President of Delhi University Students Union. He is alumni of prestigious Sriram College of Commerce, Delhi. A post graduate in commerce, he is a well known BJP leader in Delhi. Mr. Jolly was elected MLA from Saket in Delhi Assembly in 2003. He fought a valiant electoral battle in New Delhi Assembly elections in 2008 against then Delhi Chief Minister Smt. Sheila Dikshit. Mr. Jolly is credited to spread the organizational network of BJP from two nations in 2011 to more than 45 nations up till 2014 as Global Convenor BJP Overseas Affairs. He is currently Special Invitee in BJP National Executive. He also is the President of Delhi Study Group, a prominent NGO in Delhi. Britain Keen to Welcome Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi !!!

New Delhi, 22nd Nov 2014: Britain is keen to welcome Indian Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi in year 2015 stated beaming British High Commissioner in India Sir James Bevan to Senior BJP leader Mr. Vijay Jolly. 

BJP Leader Jolly met the Hon’ble British High Commissioner Sir James Bevan at New Delhi. The 45 minutes long meeting over tea and snacks took place at 2 Rajaji Marg, New Delhi residence of the British envoy. It was also attended by First Secretary (Political) Dr. Emily Cutler. 

 

Warm good wishes from BJP President Shri. Amit Shah were also conveyed by Mr. Jolly. The British High Commissioner stated that he looked forward to his meeting with Mr. Shah soon at New Delhi. 

 

During this meeting the British High Commissioner Sir Bevan fondly recalled that UK Govt. was the first to re-engage with Hon’ble Narendra Modi on 22nd Oct 2012. This in fact had strengthened economic, educational, social & diplomatic ties between Gujarat & Britain. Later on a high level British delegation had also taken part in vibrant Gujarat Summit -2013. 

 

The contribution of Indian diaspora in business, industry, education & development in United Kingdom was profusely applauded & acknowledged. The successful visit of the Indian Prime Minister to various parts of the globe and his initiatives on Swachchh Abhiyan and Make in India campaign were also discussed by BJP leader Mr. Jolly in his meeting with the British envoy in Delhi.

New Delhi, 21st Nov 2014 : BJP Leader Vijay Jolly & local MCD Councilor Smt. Sarita Chaudhary undertook Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachchhta Abhiyan in South Delhi located largest unauthorized Sangam Vihar colony.

 

 BJP brooms swept Sangam Vihar streets claimed Senior BJP leader Vijay Jolly.

 

Local Councilor & Ex. Mayor South Delhi Sarita Chaudhary along with BJP leader Vijay Jolly and accompanied by local workers, Sangam Vihar citizens, shopkeepers & passerby, stressed for keeping the colony clean under the Swachchhta Bharat Abhiyan.

 

This Sangam Vihar cleanliness drive started from Shani Bazar drain & swept bandh road uptill Deoli village in a total area covering over 2 kilometers. Garbage strewn on road sides was removed in tasala’s by Jolly & Sarita. It was later on carried away in MCD garbage removal vehicles.

 

This program was organized by Sangam Vihar NGO “Adhikar Organization (Regd.)” Convenor Brijpal Upadhyay.

 

The local Sangam Vihar leaders who specially participated in this program were namely Ch. Bheem Singh, Ex. Councilor Mool Chand Sharma, Balkishan Arya, Dilawar Singh, Satpal Singhal, Anita Singhal, Ch. Sushma Swaraj in Dubai Launched book on “The Indian Super 100”

Dubai (UAE), 15^th Nov 2014 : Indian Union Minister for External Affairs  Smt. Sushma Swaraj released a book titled “The Indian Super 100” at a glittering & well attended program at Ritz Carlton Hotel in Dubai, UAE. Top 100 NRI’s, business leaders, professionals, their families and friends attended the Dubai event.

 The program was coordinated & addressed by Senior BJP Leader & Ex Delhi MLA Mr. Vijay Jolly. To the thunderous applause, Mr. Jolly stated that while Britain took away one Kohinoor Heera to London, India produced another 100 Kohinoor Diamonds in the form of “ Indian Super 100 ” in United Arab Emirates.  

 The Indian Ambassador to UAE Mr. T.P. Seetharaman & Consulate General Mr. Anurag Bhushan also addressed the gathering.

 Indian Minister Smt. Swaraj while speaking in English & Hindi language, motivated NRI’s and complimented them for their good work overseas. You have made Mother India proud comment by Sushma -evoked loud applause. She stated that “Indian brain drain” has showed signs of decline. And this is due to India offering comparable and challenging opportunities to skilled and knowledgeable work force.

 Smt. Swaraj stated that the book Indian Super - 100 was a classic & shinny example of Indian entrepreneurial spirit. But she also noted that the book had only 2 women achievers. She suggested to the editor and publisher Mr. Biju Ninan, who conducted the program, to come up with another book on 50 women achievers & grass root social workers.

 At the initiative of BJP Leader Mr. Jolly, all the Super 100 business leaders signed a pledge to Indian Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s “Swacch Bharat Abhiyan” & “Make in India” campaign. This signed pledge, bound into a book was presented to the Minister Smt. Sushma Swaraj and who seemed visibly happy by this great gesture.
