Atlanta, USA, 24th Aug 2014 : OFBJP Convenor Vijay Jolly & BJP MP Col. (Retd) Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore today attended a crowded program in Atlanta , State of Georgia in USA organised by Dhiru Shah, a prominent local social & business leader. Both the BJP leaders are currently touring 8 prominent US cities in a short span of 12 days.
Well known Democrat US Congress Women Ms Tulsi Gabbard attended the program.BJP leaders Mr Jolly & Col (Retd) Rathore greeted the US leader and extended an invitation on behalf of Indian American Community Foundation to NAMO 28th Sep program in New York. Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi is slated to visit US in Sep 2014 and address the American community in Madison square garden in NY.
Ms Tulsi Gabbard is a American citizen with strong Hindu lineage. She was the lone US Congress Women, who had taken oath on Gita in US Congress. She represents Hawai'i in the US Parliament.
BJP leaders Mr. Jolly & Col (Retd) Rathore addressed the large gathering of prominent NRIs, businessmen, HSS, GIBVP, VHP & community leaders assembled at "Asiana Restaurant Centre" in Atlanta. Warm good wishes of BJP President Shri Amit Shah & PM Narendra Modi were conveyed on the occasion. A large contingent of PM Modi & India supporters pledged to attend the NY event led by Dr Vasudev Patel, Co-Cordinator OFBJP State of Georgia, Atlanta.
While speaking on the occasion, Ms Gabbard concurred with the view of US audience that it was a great blunder by US Govt. for having denied a US visa to Mr Narendra Modi, a true democrat. She stated that US & India are close allies .And Prime Minister Modi's September US visit and meeting with US President Barack Obama shall strengthen Indo-US Friendship & Understanding.
