" India is a great nation and Prime Minister Narendra
Modi is a dynamic leader in modern times "stated OFBJP Global Convenor
Vijay Jolly while unfurling the Indian tricolour at Vancouver, Canada to
celebrate India's 68th Independence Day. Warm good wishes & greetings from
Mr Amit Shah All India BJP President were conveyed by Mr Jolly to the large
assembled crowd in Vancouver.
Mr Jolly specially flew from India to Canada to
participate in a program organised by Aditya Tawatia, President OFBJP, British
Columbia at Bombay Banquet Hall located in Surrey in down-town Vancouver
central area predominantly inhabited by NRI"s & PIO's .
Consul General of India Hon'ble Ravi Shankar Aisola
participated in the program as the Chief Guest. OFBJP Global Convenor Vijay
Jolly graced the occasion as Guest of Honour & unfurled the National Indian
flag at the overcrowded public program in Canada.
A book on Prime Minister Narendra Modi titled-
A Political Biography in Punjabi language was released by Mr Jolly along with
Mr Aisola & Mr Tawatia at the program. After the flag hoisting,
homage was paid to Indian freedom fighters namely Shaheed Bhagat Singh,
Raj Guru, Sukhdev and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and others. A cultural
program of Bhangra, Bharat Natyam & Ghazals were performed by local artists.
OFBJP Convenor Vijay Jolly while speaking at the
program lauded PM Modi for his historic public address from Red Fort without
the usual bullet proof glass screen. It show cased the renewed vigor &
confidence of Indian govt. claimed Mr. Jolly.

previous governments & Prime Ministers in India
" and further stating that " He is not Pradhan
Mantri ( Prime Minister ) but Pradhan Sevak (Prime Servant) of India " reflected
the true , humble state , style , mind & heart of Hon'ble
Narendra Modi stated OFBJP leader while addressing the large gathering of
Canadian Citizens assembled to celebrate India Independence Day in B.C
Vancouver.
Earlier OFBJP leader Vijay Jolly addressed through
Skype a large gathering of NRI's assembled in Oslo, Norway from Vancouver. Mr
Mohan Singh Verma President OFBJP Norway organised the 68th India
Independence Day celebrations in Norway. The Prime Minister of Norway Ms Erna
Solberg also congratulated India & Indians on this auspicious day
claimed OFBJP Norway leader Mr. Verma at Oslo.
Overseas Friends of BJP, Russia led by Mr Sammy (
Manoj ) Kotwani organised India Day at Soko Niki Park, Moscow in full day
of events. The Indian tri colour was also hoisted by OFBJP Chapters in Toronto,
Montreal, Ottawa, Uganda, Kenya, Nigeria, UAE, Mauritius, Italy,
Australia, Thailand, Guyana, US & UK etc. and the message of
BJP President & video speech of Indian Prime Minister was organised to mark
this great occasion claimed OFBJP leader Mr Jolly.
