Global ConvenorMr. Vijay Jolly today stated that Nigeria chapter of Overseas
Friends of BJP (OFBJP) led by Convenor Sanjay Srivastava organized a massiveVijyadashmi
Celebration “Dussehra 2014 Lagos” event at Geeta Ashram, Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria.
Nearly 1500NRIs turned up for the event
to Celebrate the Bhartiya Festival VIjyadashmi/Dussehra. Eminent Indians from
all parts of Lagos participated in the event& it was widely supported by
the Corporates & Citizen of each age group, local friends in media&
press.
While addressing the participants Mr.
Sanjay Srivastava, Convener OFBJP Nigeriathanked BJP President Shri. Amit Sah,
BJP Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi and OFBJP dynamic leader Shri. Vijay
Jolly for their message of Dussehra Celebration to all NRI’s in Nigeria. Mr.
Sanjay Srivastava stated the importance of celebrating Indian festivals and
following patriotism and building national character to contribute nation
to become “ViswaGudu” . He stated that
we have to create society of our choice which is role model for nextgen&
whole world. He stated in hindi
OFBJP Nigeria chapter organized a
grand event for Vijyadashmi Celebration.Nearly 1500NRIs turned up for the event to Celebrate.
With the formation of BJP led Govt.
in India it’s a beginning of new chapter by NRIs abroad to feel connected with
Modi Govt. as one of the most reliable, accessible & favorite govt. its
matter of pride for all of NRIs to cheer the PM for his each & every step
in building New Nation, New India. NRIs from all part of Nigeria expressed
their support for nation building measures initiated by the new govt.
The OFBJP team led the event were

Rakesh Srivastava, Ramesh BabuMuriki, RahulSawant, DiweshJi, DhirenJi, Arvind

OFBJPNG Women Wing President
RuchiSawant with team Neetu Pandey, Priyanaka Srivastava, DiptiJi, Supriya Ji,
PradanyaJi took responsibility of Cultural event, Stage performances, Snacks
& dinner of all the 1500 plus guests.
Free
medical health check up camp was organized in association with Indian Health
care organization “ VedicLifecare” which is part of Manipal Group.
OFBJP Dussehra
2014 Celebration was supported by prominent corporate groups and eminent
personalities of Lagos like Shri NG Patel, Shri AK Mirchandani, Mrs. Shashi
Garg, Sri DhananjayJani, Dr. Kamaljeet Bhatti, Shri Rajiv Patel, Shri DD
Mishra, Shri Deepak Singhal, Shri Manu Lalwani, Shri Chandrakant Modi, Shri
Sanjay Jain and various Heads of Indian Association in Nigeria.
Indian High Commission also
represented by Shri V.D. Choudhary.
Program ended with started with
national anthem of Nigeria & India with vote of thanks &Dussehra
Greetings to all for their overwhelming support in “Nav Bharat Niramn”.
The event concluded with RavanDahan&
followed by Dinner.
The OFBJP Nigeria chapter is also mobilizing
“Make in INDIA” & “Swacch Bharat”
& other campaigns of GOI here in Nigeria. Guests were requested to

has good follower base of aprox5000 families in Nigeria stated by Global
Convenor BJP Overseas Affairs Mr. Vijay Jolly.
